Changes and fixes

(23/01 - 26/01):

Added Gallery page and populated with images from Instagram;

Changed Price List options from buttons to Images;

Changed contact address for Media & salon enquiries to hair@escapehairdressing.no;

Added extended description to the Online Booking page;

Removed old pages from page editing list;

Changed how Contact pages are handled, use the section from the home page rather than have a completely different page;

(22/01):

Changed address of the Kontakt form on the NO page (thank you Escape Haidressing reception);

(20/1 - 21/01):

Fixed Kontakt page inconsistency compared to EN version;

Added extended description for Price List pages;

Added extended description to sub-Price list pages (cut, barber …);

Translated extended NO description (thank you Kristian and Veronica);

(8/1 - 20/1):

General:

  • Major website changes;

  • Added and increased social media icons and moved to the top left of the header page;

  • Logo moved to the center of the screen and increased in size;

  • Lots of changes regarding readability and content position for all pages;

  • Added custom CSS to fix navigation bar and to work logically in both desktop and mobile versions;

  • Lots of changes on both desktop and mobile versions to provide easy accessibility;

  • Button style and header style changes;

  • Added cancel appointment warnings on all pages which require the warning;

  • Pages that do not have the cancel appointment warnings are sent to the Online Booking page which contains warnings;

  • Minor translation issues;

  • SEO improvements;

  • Improved URL names and navigation titles names;

  • Removed empty and necessary content that was not visible to normal user view.

Home page:

  • Redesigned Home page to be more accessible for both desktop and mobile versions;

  • Added “Book an Appointment” and “View Prices” buttons

  • Removed Our Team and Meet the Team from Home page;

  • Moved Our Team and Meet the Team to dedicated page;

  • Contact section re-ordered and compacted;

  • Added “Send an Email” form;

  • Translated “Our Story” and “David” sections for the Norwegian home page (thank you Kristian);

Price List:

  • Added top side video for NO page;

  • Added warning before service selection (cut, color, …);

  • Prices updated as of 16/01;

Price list (pages):

  • Added Book Now button under all Price list pages alongside cancel appointment warnings

  • Major change in all pages viewing style for both desktop and mobile versions;

  • Fixed readability issues on mobile version caused inadequate usage of objects, resulting in prices not being aligned to the service name;

  • Updated certain services to coincide with current prices and service procedures;

  • [Hair Extensions page] Removed bottom page contents "Information and Advice about Hair Extensions";

  • [Hair Extensions page] Added text on top of the page alongside an “Important!” text recommending clients to read "Information and Advice about Hair Extensions";

Proposals:

Landing page:

  • Change old video with new video released on 24th of September on Instagram;

Home page:

  • An average of 44 seconds is spent on the home pages.

  • Recommend moving Our story to it’s own dedicated page, possibly with older pictures to make it more attractive;

  • Add slightly shorter and catchier home page description in order to maximize client/potential client/returning client probability to check other pages;

  • Remove salon picture before Contact Section;

  • Add new page called ‘Gallery’;

Our team:

  • Update text description of my team;

  • Update pictures of all team members;

  • Add a description for each team member, creating a familiar feeling towards client;
